Job Description

Our client, a large non profit located in downtown DC is looking to add a Senior Accountant to the Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of annual budgets, taxes and other corporate filings, along with daily operational accounting duties such as AP/AR and assisting in month end close and financial statement preparation. Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years experience with a non-profit and experience with Great Plains is required. Candidates with a CPA or MBA and public accounting is a huge plus.
