Senior Accountant – Dynisco Instruments LLC – Franklin MA

Dynisco is seeking a Senior Accountant with four to seven years experience.  This position will report to the Controller.  This is a unique career opportunity for a motivated, detail oriented individual to learn and contribute in a deadline driven, SOX compliant, division of a publicly traded company while enjoying the quality of life of a smaller company.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end closes;

Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts;

Prepare and record journal entries into general ledger;

Assist with internal/external audit, budget and forecasting processes;

Maintain fixed assets and monitor monthly depreciation;

Reconcile inter-company balances;

Maintain SOX compliant monthly reconciliation binders;

Produce weekly cash reports;

Post ledgers daily;

Backup for payroll;

Ad hoc projects

Requirements

Prefer Bachelors degree in Accounting;

Ability to work with close attention to detail and in a deadline-driven team environment is a must;

Four to seven years accounting or bookkeeping experience;

Knowledge of general ledger accounting systems and ability to become resident expert;

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite;

Excellent organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail;

Ability to work on many different projects at one time;

Ability to meet strict deadlines;

The ideal candidate will be able to grasp new systems and procedures quickly and accurately.
