Works directly with financial administration and performs the duties of general accounting, preparing journal entries, balancing accounts, preparing month-end closing reports, assisting in budget processes, and assists in preparatory work for cost reporting. Works directly with all other departments in various capacities as directed by Controller and/or CFO.
Requirements:
2 years accounting experience, preferably in a hospital setting
High School Diploma or equivalent
Further accounting education preferred
Numerical ability required for analyzing problems and developing accounting systems to accurately control financial activity of the hospital. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
