Position Title:

Senior Accountant – Ridgefield, NJ

Overview:

International Company has immediate opening for an experienced Senior Accountant for a plastics manufacturer in Ridgefield, NJ.  This position will report to the Accounting Manager. 

Position Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 
  
  Preparing and reviewing account analysis/reconciliations.
  
  
• 
  
  Understanding and documenting process flows.
  
  
• 
  
  Researching and documenting accounting transactions.
  
  
• 
  
  Solid working knowledge of GAAP.
  
  
• 
  
  Compliance of Sarbanes Oxley requirements and procedures.   

Position Requirements:

• 
  
  CPA (big 4 preferred, with license current) 
  
  
• 
  
   Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is a plus!
  
  
• 
  
  3-5 years of related experience required.
  
  
• 
  
  Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  
  
• 
  
  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Excel and Outlook is required; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
  
  
• 
  
  Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  
  
• 
  
  Requires a strong Team player who can also work with minimal supervision.
  
  
• 
  
  Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels.
