Senior Accountant
A leading manufacturer is looking for a senior accountant to join the corporate accounting department. The Senior Accountant will be the in-charge person for the Staff level associates for a global organization. This person will report directly to the Controller and have visibility throughout the entire finance group. In addition to the accounting responsibilities, the Senior Accountant will be involved in analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for general ledger, assisting with month-end closings, account reconciliations, assisting with internal reporting and monthly analytics and variance analysis. The Senior Acct duties will include external audit preparation assistance, external reporting filings, preparing footnotes for 10QK, and special projects as needed.
Requirements (only those matching the following criteria will be considered):
BS Acct, CPA
3-7 years max experience in public and corporate accounting
SEC reporting experience
Strong experience with ERP software.
