Senior Analyst, Compliance and Claims

Ocwen Financial Corporation is a multi-billion dollar, financial services holding company engaged in a variety of businesses related to mortgage servicing, real estate asset management, asset recovery and technology. Ocwen is dedicated to becoming a global leader in providing asset management services and advanced technology solutions to selected financial markets.

This position reports directly to Manager of Contract Compliance and is responsible for the timely filing and recovery of claims from Ocwen’s Investors.

Responsibilities include:

•Identification of potential expenses and gathering of requisite documentation to file a claim with the Investor.
•Timely submission of claims and follow-up.
•Resolve denied claims by working with Ocwen’s Investors and internal Business Units.
•Ensure that receivables are recovered in a timely manner and do not become aged.
•Provide feedback to the servicing areas ordering/paying for these expenses in order to assure that expenses are incurred in line with expectations and what is billed can be 100% recovered.
•Completion of document audits to substantiate claim amount
•Posting of wires and checks to the appropriate receivable.
•Reconciling general ledger with claims outstanding and paid.
•Work with co-workers to assist in achieving team and department goals.

Key Result Areas:

•Ensuring 100% of claims are filed on time.
•Recover 95% of claimed amount within 90 days.

Qualifications:

This position requires 1-2 years banking, finance, collections or sales experience. College degree preferred. Experience with Windows applications. Analytical skills. Ability to analyze and interpret loan histories and other loan servicing issues (ARMS, Escrow). Strong interpersonal skills. Must be organized and have the ability to learn quickly.
