Senior Analyst

The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. is seeking a Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Internal Control department.  This individual will be responsible for determining the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in the affiliates, plants and departments in the Estee Lauder Companies through operational and financial reviews and audits.


 


ACCOUNTABILITIES:




  •  Participate in the planning of the reviews/audits to help determine the appropriate scope for the assignment.

  • Perform on-site operational and financial reviews/audits.

  • As part of the review/audit team, evaluate the existing internal controls procedures and identify opportunities to strengthen those procedures.

  • Participate in preparing the written report to operating and senior management, which summarizes the work performed, findings, and recommendations made.

  • Participate on various special projects to evaluate effectiveness of business processes and make recommendations for improvement.

 


 


 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must possess 2-4 years of related experience within a public accounting firm.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.

  • Excellent communications and analytical skills.

  • Good working knowledge of PC programs.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 35%.


  • Ability to understand process flows.
