This Technical Customer Service position will be based in Bridgewater, NJ.  As a part of the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives team, you will be expected to perform the following duties\:



What we offer

Provide timely technical support for assigned customers including application based product recommendations, complaint investigations, and analytical problem solving.
Provide project management support including justifying and scoping customer projects, as well as driving against established action plans and milestones.
Plan and execute adhesive formulation and testing to support applications and customer requests.
Support customer coating trials including utilization of pre-trial and post-trial planning and evaluation tools.
Explore new technology platforms for pressure sensitive adhesives using knowledge of industry, applications, and customers.
Engage in professional and technical training opportunities including Six Sigma certification and project management.


Who we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or polymer related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in the adhesives industry or closely associated field is a must.
Understanding of polymer chemistry, effects on product properties, and analytical techniques used for polymer characterization is a plus.
Experience in adhesive coating technologies is a plus.
Experience in troubleshooting complex/difficult problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management and organization skills.
Willing to travel up to 20% of time.
