Senior Art Director - Interactive

To establish the conceptual development and design of client online marketing materials; develop materials that are conceptually rich, achieve marketing goals, and satisfy branding requirements of individual clients.


 


Position Responsibilities: 


·         Conceptualizes and designs graphic content in collaboration with creative director, copywriter, client team, and production team that accurately addresses the marketing objectives.


·         Prepares detailed and accurate specifications for projects.


·         Preparation of files for HTML Production / Client Presentations.


·         Assures that client artwork is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget. Ensures flawless execution.


·         Leads in process improvement.


·         Mentors, trains, and develops other artists.


·         Stays abreast of technological innovations in the graphic arts and interactive field.


·         Demonstrates the qualities of a leader on the team.


·         Stays current with internet and software technologies used for creative work.


·         Job functions as defined by Roles and Responsibilities Grid and other duties as assigned by management.


 


Position Qualifications:


SKILLS:


·         Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite


·         Basic knowledge of  Microsoft Office


·         Knowledge of animation process and development a plus.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


 


·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in graphic arts.


·         Minimum of 7 years of professional design experience, preferably with email and micro sites, with at least 3 years experience as an art director.


·         Understanding of typography, color theory, corporate identity and branding, with a broad knowledge of current design.


·         Excellent conceptual and presentation skills are required.


·         Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.


·         Self-motivation and a wide range of creativity are expected.


·         Knowledge of principles and practices of email and micro site, as demonstrated through portfolio work.
