Wilen Media, a Long Island marketing agency, has an opening for an Account Director who will develop and manage high-level accounts.  The Account Director at Wilen Media is the main client contact for our top-line accounts.

This position requires excellent communication and the ability to handle project details by interacting with clients as well as vendors and  internal teams including: editorial, creative, technical and production.

The Account Director will lead a team of account personnel to address client needs while growing agency business. Serving as the project team leader ultimately responsible for the successful completion of projects, the ideal candidate will look for opportunities to organically grow the existing business and stay attuned to the client's needs for the firm in a passionately creative environment.

Job Requirement

• Day-to-day account lead to ensure the highest level of service and performance for clients.
• Participate in setting strategies and implementing programs to meet client goals that generate measurable results for assigned accounts.
• Increase value of assigned accounts with insightful strategic thinking and integrating diverse disciplines of agency for agency growth and profit.
• Supervise and teach project managers and coordinators.

Candidate Requirement

• Demonstrated ability to integrate different elements of a direct marketing  program into a targeted, effective plan.
• Must have leadership and facilitation experience of agency team to produce consistently high quality work across disciplines (direct marketing, on line and print advertising, creative, media, promotion) and to produce high client satisfaction.
• A complete understanding of client branding and strategic initiatives and the ability to communicate them internally.
• Ability to analyze the client's business and make strategic recommendations for future work / direction.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of print industry, Variable Data Imaging and Direct Marketing experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related
• Travel is a requirement of this position.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
