Senior Associate/Manager, Public Affairs Practice

Burson-Marsteller seeks a seasoned public relations professional to join our Public Affairs Practice. The person will be a day-to-day client contact for a high profile energy client, manage diverse internal teams, drive project deliverables, achieve deadlines and deliver outstanding results. Hill and agency experience is preferred.

 

This person should possess strong media relations, writing and client counseling skills. Candidates should be experienced strategists, strong writers, team leaders and self-starters. Skills and background should include directing media campaigns and public sector communications initiatives. Must have 4-8 years public affairs/communications experience. BA/BS degree required. Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day client projects and/or events to ensure the quality of work meets client's objective and provide value.
-Develop and cultivate relationship with the client and external audiences.
-Recommend and implement initiatives that improve the public's perception of the client.
-Maintain clear and consistent communication between the client and Burson-Marsteller.
-Develop complete communications plan for the client.
-Participate in new business development and support organizational initiatives.
