The candidate will work on engagements with a focus on People & Change issues within a variety of industry sectors, such as: Energy & Utilities, Automotive, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Consumer, Media and Technology.
Key Role:
A key objective of this position is to grow internal and client relationships by delivering exceptional work products and high-quality content. Your role will be client-facing with primary responsibilities focused in the human capital area. However, our consultants have capabilities that span multiple People & Change areas.
The key activities for this role include:
ยท Demonstrate and deliver strategic human capital insights on client engagements and serve as both project management and hands on design and delivery of human capital consulting initiatives, such as, but not limited to:
- Use research based, proven talent models & frameworks to develop and implement strategies for HR transformations
- Design, develop and implement human capital programs - talent acquisition, performance, leadership, succession, and retention plans
- Assess effectiveness of existing HR structure and delivery systems
- Contribute human capital expertise to project teams in merger/acquisition integration, business transformation, strategy alignment and/or other initiatives
- Leverage and improve upon client's workforce planning and relevant performance management frameworks and methodologies
Use multiple analytic techniques to analyze complex client problems related to human capital management, develop solutions and recommend appropriate course of action for addressing strategic human capital issues, bring industry best practices and knowledge of current strategic human capital management trends and developments to our clients, facilitate knowledge transfer to client organization to execute long-term recommendations, lead strategic human capital workstreams and small teams, manage or execute work, with consideration of financials and economics, in the best interest of the client and firm, and facilitate long-term relationships with existing clients at senior level; lead client presentations and proposal writing.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA / BS degree required.
- 10+ years demonstrated experience in a consulting capacity
- Solid functional background in human capital management and consulting. Specific experience desired include: HR effectiveness, talent strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards, and/or organizational change
- Ability to travel 80% of the time
Additional Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters degree in a related field preferred
- Extensive experience leading teams and building consensus with clients and internal staff required
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Proven ability to execute in a fast paced project environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation and editing ability
- Ability to identify and apply HRM best practices
- Proven project management skills including ability to develop work breakdown structures, execute tasks, define metrics, and report status
