If you are service-oriented, possess knowledge of employment law, and have five or more years of associate relations experience, you may be the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
Investigate and lead the resolution of associate relations issues such as:
-Complaints
-Harassment Allegations
-Disciplinary actions and/or terminations
-Discrimination
-Situations involving interpersonal conflict
Act as a human resource consultant for assigned areas by advising branches, regional leadership and supporting home office departments.
Resolve branch issues through the utilization of applicable employment laws, while maintaining firm culture.
Prepares documentation and reports on investigative activities.
Develop and implement human resource programs and activities designed to improve overall morale, safety and job satisfaction of associates.
Requirements
5 years experience working in an associate relations role.
Must have experience working with a high volume of daily associate relations issues (i.e. Involuntary terminations, progressive discipline, and judgment in grey areas, etc.).
Must have a strong ability to coach associates on related performance issues.
Must have a strong ability to manage and prioritize numerous investigations, projects, or activities simultaneously.
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
PHR or SPHR preferred, but not required.
