Working as part of IT Business Intelligence team, this role will provide leadership for the identification of opportunities, the facilitation of gathering and analysis of business requirements, and the planning and prioritization of projects using Oracle Business Intelligence platform. This role will work across all functional business areas (Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, Distribution, & Engineering) to satisfy their need for reporting and analysis. This role will also work with Corporate, Business IT teams, System Integrators and the Project Management Office (PMO) to plan, scope, test, deploy, and implement Business Intelligence projects.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Identification of opportunities for the implementation and use of Business Intelligence across functions and business units and regions globally
* Takes lead to ensure business requirements are captured to satisfy business' analytical and reporting needs
* Help in defining scope and effort involved in providing the solution using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
* Works closely with business and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications to build analytical and reporting capability using OBIEE
* Modify or create OBIEE dashboards and reports per business requirements
* Effect communication of issues and their resolution and escalate when necessary
* Works with user groups to coordinate testing and validation of data and reporting
* Provide change control of all changes to business requirements and test cases accordingly
* Take ownership to ensure OBIEE structures are built to business specification with common data definitions around key data and metrics
* Support and coordinate user training and post production support to ensure successful delivery of solution

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Information technology with good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management methodologies
Experience in working on OBIEE platform and application with knowledge of standard dashboards and reports
Experience in gathering business requirements, creating functional design documents for OBIEE, conducting user acceptance testing, training and post-production support
Experience in OBIEE Answers, Dashboards and Reports
Knowledge and ability to understand business and to look for opportunities where business intelligence can provide business value and drive management excellence
Knowledge of business processes and terminology in Finance, Operations, Order management and Supply chain
Experience in packaged business applications like Oracle eBusiness Suite, Siebel, Peoplesoft, etc, preferred
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with business and IT teams at all levels
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work well in a team environment and to build relationship with business and technical teams
Must have ability and flexibility to travel globally
Strong attention to detail with follow-through
