Senior Biostatistician - Pharma Client


PURPOSE:


 


Sr. PhD Biostatistician needed immediately for Pharma Client in the greater DC area.  Provide statistical expertise for the company.


 


 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


 


1.     Participate in project teams as lead statistician.


2.     Function as lead statistician for clinical studies and regulatory submissions.


3.     Meet milestones as assigned.


4.     Protocol development and CRF design.


5.     Prepare analysis plans/table shells and write specifications for analyses.


6.     Interpret analyses and review clinical study reports.


7.     May assist in developing and revising core operating procedures and working instructions.


8.     Understand and comply with company policies, core operating procedures, and working instructions.


9.     Perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Biostatistics.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


 


·         PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with 4+ years of relevant experience.


·         Familiarity with statistical methods that apply to clinical trials.


·         Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.


·         Excellent attention to detail.


·         Ability to lead and co-ordinate work within a team.


·         Excellent computer skills.


·         Strong working knowledge of SAS® and other statistical computing software.


·         Ability to act with initiative required to resolve problems. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
