Our Olympia, WA office is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer to support transportation related projects.  Experience with WashDOT LRFD bridge design practices and seismic design criteria is required.  A successful candidate will perform complex structural analysis and design calculations using AASHTO codes for different bridge structural systems.  This includes preparation of Advance Planning Studies, Structure Type Selection Reports, and final design, plans, specifications, and estimates.  Typical projects will include cast-in-place prestressed and reinforced concrete, precast concrete, segmental concrete, and steel girder bridges; retaining walls; and sound walls.  The ideal candidate would also have experience working on Design/Build transportation projects.  The qualified candidate must be comfortable with providing technical expertise and direction to other team members and serving as the client point of contact.
