Senior Business Analyst - Business Information Office

Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, document business needs, prioritize requested functionality and validate requirements against strategic goals and project objectives; convey requirements to business and achieve sign-off on key decisions
- Manage business and stakeholder expectations regarding requirement changes and convey budget and timeline impacts when changes are needed
- Facilitate process review, documentation and re-engineering to meet project and company goals
- Plan, organize and manage small projects and enhancement work efforts; manage one or more phases of large projects
- Apply various project management approaches to the software development process to ensure project or phase goals, budgets and timelines are met
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing phase for projects of various size; use a broad knowledge of testing methodologies to validate test plans and ensure testing teams have the resources and skills required to execute the test plan successfully
- Coordinate system and knowledge transfer between Production Support and Development teams during project ramp-ups and implementations to ensure team transition results in minimal perceptible impacts to end users
- Approach unfamiliar situations, projects, systems and stakeholders with confidence and curiosity
- Examine and analyze available information to determine patterns and gaps at a strategic level and recommend appropriate course of action to support technology strategy and company goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business/project/process engineering (combined business, system development and implementation)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a business analyst or project lead
- Knowledge of business tools, processes and systems used in online retail
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Visio
- Experience developing business process flows and wireframes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively
