Senior Business Analyst - Customer Knowledge Warehouse

The ideal senior business analyst is able to work independently on any size software development or enhancement project.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Manage projects using designated project lifecycle templates and make recommendations as to the appropriate templates to use

  • Communicate and incorporate channel appropriate customer, marketing, security and privacy requirements and functions as necessary

  • Research and gather information needed for strategies, business case documents and project task inventories

  • Create an effective project plan for small and medium sized projects

  • Analyze and design complex integrated  business processes, data and test plans

  • Contribute business expertise to logical database or application design

  • Lead scope discussions and requirement gathering sessions with the business to validate process visions

  • Identify cost, quality and timing issues that may impact scope and/or delivery

  • Work to control project scope and escalate issues as necessary

  • Plan and manage business activities and budget


Qualifications
 
  • Minimum of 6 years business experience in a system development or implementation role

  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle phases and execution

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Visio required

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL language for use in data extraction and reporting

  • Flow charting and process documentation experience

  • Familiarity with IT issue, service request and project tracking tools
