Provider of satellite entertainment programming to U.S households
Responsible for providing analysis to internal customers in the areas of field service and operations, including residential installations, upgrades, and services calls. Will create accurate and timely analyses of operational performance across and within contractors (including owned and operated) and market areas, responsiveness to various incentives, process changes, and other performance enhancement initiatives. In addition, will partner with cross functional teams to analyze and understand the operational impacts and opportunities of technology changes, various types and structures of promotional activities; track, analyze and interpret trends in data; and provide conclusions and recommendations for operational improvements.
Requires a minimum of three to five years of experience accessing, compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data into concise and precise information utilizing tools and databases such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Access, SAS, SPSS, and Cognos. Must possess a solid background and understanding of statistics that includes experience calculating present values. Candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment. Outstanding verbal/written communication, presentation, organizational and teamwork skills are a must. A degree in mathematics, quantitative analysis, economics, or a related field and previous experience in high transaction volume field operations or consumer services/products is preferred.
