SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group, a regional property and casualty insurance company and a subsidiary of W.R. Berkley Corporation, a Fortune 500 and A.M. Best A+ rated Company, has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst in our Richmond, VA regional office.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing situations, developing business requirements, and producing project specifications to solve complex problems. You will work closely with the business community and serve as a liaison to insure their needs are meet in any system development process.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a property and casualty insurance environment or 5 years as a Business Analyst in the financial industry. Proficiency using Microsoft Office software and personal computer equipment. Individual should possess effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently as a member of a team and independently. AIT or other related insurance coursework preferred.
