This candidate will interface with users and various vendor partners who develop the products for the client. This person will be responsible for developing the scope and design documents, maintaining the project plan, assigning tasks to the IT resource and making sure that all tasks are within the scope of the project. 

Most of the products are web based (.NET), so experience with web based products/projects is very helpful. This person needs to be an excellent communicator and gain the trust of the users without threatening their turf or appearing to take control.  The users are sensitive and protective of their turf.  They are not technical.  This person needs to gain their trust and then take charge without unnerving them.

Follow the client SDLC approach; promote consensus on a high level view of the project and drill down into the details to obtain the requirements; must have ability to organize and facilitate large cross functional meetings.
