Description:
The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business. She/he is distinguished by an advanced skill level and ability to perform and model all of Volt's sales techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
" Provide effective leadership through motivation and staff development by mentoring, training and career readiness, high level risk mitigation, sound business judgments, and problem-solving techniques.
" Establish goals and drive high performance recruiting practices and initiate actions to provide overall performance growth within the service center.
" Set priorities and direct workflow of recruiters. Manage and adjust the workload of each team member.
" Coordinate, guide, participate and ensure the quality of hiring and staffing of the region's personnel. Determine terminations when necessary.
" Initiate and implement training practices for operations, recruiting and sales staff.
" Set the sales strategy and direction for the region.
" Generate viable job orders from new and inactive accounts.
" Create and maintain a business plan utilizing CRM, with targeted new accounts and completely mapped territory and calendar.
" Manage assigned territory in an organized and systematic fashion. Develop business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new and inactivate customers.
" Generate leads through prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone and other electronic media.
" Turn customer inquiries into orders.
" Take accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
" Coordinate with Recruiting teams to ensure delivery to customers' requisitions. Participate in sales and training seminars geared toward branch recruiting teams.
" Research potential new business and current customers.
" Actively cross-sell other VIS divisions.
" Coordinate preparations for bids, proposals and presentations determining billing rates for customers to obtain optimum income.
" Pursue and win contracts.
" Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations.
" Meet all minimum requirements for activity and revenue growth.
" Complete all required sales reports and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into Volt's CRM and other automated systems. Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
" Meet with Supervisor and internal staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities.
" Provide information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals within assigned territory.
" Oversee day-to-day operation and function of internal staff in relation to business functions
" Monitor customer satisfaction and satisfaction of field employees with our service
" Handle general Human Resources functions such as compensation, wage and salary, fair employment practices and other regulations regarding employment including performance reviews, disciplinary actions and terminations of in-house employees.
" Monitor and ensure the utilization of Volt policies and procedures
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
" Perform special assignments and complete projects as needed.
" Develop and expand sales competency by continuing education and participation in training and seminars.
