Senior Business Systems Analyst

Description:
Responsibilities

As a key member of a Project Team, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for transforming high-level client requirements into detailed technical designs and supporting the resulting solution by:
- Working to discover, analyze and document client business requirements, and translating those needs into system and process solution designs.
- Designing and managing integration test cycles for new system enhancements including the creation of detailed test plans, test data sets, and documentation of test case results.
- Coordinating closely with internal production teams and external client teams to develop and document operational processes and change management plans during roll-out of system enhancements.
- Interface directly with clients to assess ongoing business needs and translate those needs into systems requirements.
- Ensure high client satisfaction with change management planning, communication, execution, and service.
- Transition final deliverables to technical implementation team, ensuring they fully understand client requirements and details of the design and plan.
- Identify, track and resolve project issues and risks.
- Employ consulting and systems development methodologies to guide daily activities.
- Share knowledge with peers and other project teams.

Strategic Database Services designs, builds, and supports world-class database marketing systems for our growing roster of Fortune 2000 companies using best-in-class software platforms, marketing applications, data warehouse design principles, and project methodologies.

Qualifications:
Skills and Experience Required
- 5+ years of business analysis around database marketing technologies and data management, and basic technical understanding in these areas
- Handles any size projects with little to no assistance.
- Experience in database marketing and/or data management solutions for a Fortune 2000 company
- Strong knowledge of database marketing campaign management technologies
- Strong knowledge of database marketing involving multiple channels.
- Strong experience with reporting technology
- Ability to build consensus to support business initiatives
- Expert SQL skills
- Develops test plans independently
- Takes on new tasks with minimal instruction and works well in a team environment.
- Deftly handles the ambiguous nature of our warehouse projects.
