Primary Function:

Manage purchasing activities of the Clarksburg site optimizing the value of cost, quality and delivery.  Understand & perform the duties of a supervisor/buyer. Perform tactical support for daily purchasing administration as per corporate policy. Manage staff, implement and enforce policies, issue purchase orders, reduce cost and maintain supplier relationship.  This position reports to the Site Manager.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

·   CPM certification a plus

      Four-year college degree

   Lean Six Sigma experience a plus

·   Proven track record in achieving results

·   Strong Analytical Skills – Data-Based and Variance-Based Thinking

·   Previous purchasing experience between 3-5yrs.  

   MRP, logistics and JD Edwards One World experience is desirable.

·   PC and Computer Skills a Must – Excel & Word system experience required.
