Senior CICS Systems Programmer
About the Job
Major Financial Firm is seeking to add onto their technical team an experienced CICS Systems Programmer who will be responsible for all current and future CICS and IP related implementations as well as supporting and maintaining all CICS and ISV software ensuring reliable online processing for the core business. The ideal candidate will have experience enabling CICS applications and maintaining ISV products and will resolve all related problems and apply fixes plus maintain performance tuning for peak systems performance and build and maintain both production and test regions. To be considered the ideal candidate must have strong demonstrated expertise with CICS online systems internals, Client Server interface into CICS including: COMTI, Hostbridge, TCPIP, FTP and Telnet. Knowledge of Host on Demand or other related mainframe web applications are also desired as are ISV software products CICS/Expeditor and/or Abendaid, TMONCICS, journal forward recovery software and performance tuning and capacity planning for CICS online systems.
