Harland Financial Solutions (HFS) is a leading provider of key technologies for financial institutions of all sizes. We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Counsel to provide solutions to highly complex legal and compliance problems facing depository and non-depository financial services companies. You will provide input and guidance for design and maintenance of sophisticated software for consumer and commercial financial services.  The position requires five to ten year’s legal practice, including experience researching and interpreting Federal and State statutes and regulations related to financial services, significant transactional experience dealing with a wide range of financial services, and practical experience in more than one of the following is a plus: multistate consumer and commercial lending, participations, factoring, multi-facility credit agreements, equipment leasing, commercial real estate, and letters of credit. Experience as in house legal counsel for a financial services company (depository or nondepository) is also a plus. A Juris Doctorate degree and a bar admission in any state is also required.
