Job Responsibilities:

• Supports software and hardware design, building, testing deployment and operational support phases to ensure developers have appropriate workspaces and available artifacts.
  
• Trains and provides periodic work guidance to the Configuration Management staff.
  
• Supports staff working with project managers to provide input, advice, and recommendations regarding Configuration Management problems or tailoring.
  
• Supports establishment and work of Change Review Boards (CRB), Change Control Boards (CCB), and Change Advisory Boards (CAB).
  
• Works to ensure that environments facilitate product review, change, and defect tracking activities.

Job Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, related discipline, and or related work experience required.
  
• Five to seven years experience in Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release Management required.
  
• Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP), Rational Tools, J2EE, and Service Oriented Architecture required.
  
• Previous experience in strategic and architectural implementation in both mainframe and distributed environments highly desired.
  
• Knowledge of Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release Management processes and procedures.
  
• Experience with software configuration tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest, ChangeMan).
  
• Ability to audit software and environmental changes.
  
• Experience with distributed and mainframe change management.
