Duties:
- Initiate and coordinate work with other company organizations to secure data, recommendations, and approvals pertaining to company sales proposals.
- Review, analyze, and sift data for incorporation into a sales proposal, and prepare draft or direct preparation of draft for presentation to supervision.
- Prepare sales proposals, pre-contractuals, intra-company sales information digests, and other correspondence related to sales programs.
- Assist in sales negotiations with customers to work out contract details which are in accordance with the company's policies and the best interest of the business
- Assist in establishing and administering the allocation of negotiated contract funds
- Monitor performance against the original cost allocation in order to anticipate necessary changes in contract funding or scope of work
- Prepare contract briefs to assure management and the performing activities of proper interpretation of the contract with particular emphasis on work requirements such as deliverable end items and special provisions pertaining to quality control, reliability, billing and inspection
- Maintain liaison with customers on all matters pertaining to contracts to work out details and documentation of contract changes
- Monitor programs by maintaining a continuing survey of progress to verify compliance with shipping schedules, design specifications, legal requirements and other commitments.
- Obtain and investigate requests for contract changes and participate in negotiations of such changes with the customer
- Assist in contract termination by verifying completion of all commitments and surveying and other divisional activities to substantiate execution of certificate of completion.
- Review contract modifications and amendments of solicitations to insure that all expenditures and anticipated claims are provided for in the documentation of contract completion.
Education:
Bachelors’ degree in related field or equivalent applicable experience; 5-7 years contracts administration experience. .
Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain Security Clearance required.
