Job Purpose 
 

This position is to provide proactive support for Strategic Markets by calling on customers and selling them products and solutions either in person or over the phone.

Attendance is required in this position.

 

Essential Functions 
 
  • Managing existing and providing new contracts to customers (40%)
  • Sell products and services (20%)
  • Interface w/customer to address support or administrative issues, including service installation and billing (20%)
  • Order products and services (10%)
  • Updating timely and accurate information into the customer profiles / SPIN profile in BMW (10%)
Education 
 Four years of College or equivalent
Experience / Background 
 3 – 5 Years Experience in selling to Strategic accounts that bill between $500 and $400,000 per month.
Previous Job Experience 
 
Special Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 
 
  • Phone skills, knowledge of Cincinnati Bell systems, and communication skills
  • Inherent ability to close sales based on Competitive intelligence
  • Must have attention to detail and legible writing for orders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes Calendar Management
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Familiar with large complex contracts/networks and ability to identify opportunities to grow or add to existing networks
  • Strong understanding of Gov. procurement regulations (RFP’s and E-rate) to ensure contracts are compliant and not subject to protests, fines and/or disbarment (For Gov/Ed positions)

  • This position will ensure that we retain the business that we have with our customers and to secure services currently not under contract.
