A very exciting laser products company, located in Milwaukee, WI needs, IMMEDIATELY, Senior Design Engineers.
These Senior Design Engineers' education and background will include the following:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, or Physics, or Optics/Optical Engineering;
- Minimum of four (4) years of closely related, hands-on experience;
- Experience with a minimum of four (4) of the following requirements:
- InP laser diode processing;
- OMVPE /MOCVD experience, with III-V arsenides/phosphides on GaAs and Inp
- Semiconductor laser grating fabrication, such as DFB and DBR lasers;
- Grating and SC laser modeling;
- Laser diode packaging onto heatsink;
- Packaging optical components;
- Thermal, flow, strain, 3D CAD modeling;
- Basic electronics;
- Optical and/or opto-electronic product development;
- Optical tolerancing;
- Opto-mechanical holder / fixture design;
- Optical alignment;
- ZEMAX, or Code V, or similar optical simulation;
- Specification of optical components and coatings;
- Laser diode test setup for electro optical and spectral characterization;
- Software/programming for data acquisition;
- Lifetest station specification, or design.
