POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Developer - ETL position will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, deployment and on-going support of ETL routines supporting software initiatives for Saks Fifth Avenue. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilization of system development methodology to optimize data warehouse data loading techniques
• Data balancing routines while meeting reliability and performance standards.

SKILLS REQUIRED:     

• Skills with extracting, transforming and loading data into Relational Database Managements Systems. 
• Experience with Teradata data warehouses is a benefit.
• Specific ETL experience using the DataStage ETL product is a benefit.
• SQL, UNIX Scripting and basic DBA functions.
• Specific knowledge in Retail and Customer Data Warehouse systems areas would be beneficial.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experience working with large database sizes.
