• Senior Development Engineer

Position Description

• To provide direction, execute strategies, and provide expertise for process and product technology optimization and improvements directly affecting productivity of our plants, acceptance of our products in the market place, cost-effectiveness of our overall operation, and overall business result for our 1.6 billion lb/year styrenics polymers business.

Position Requirements

• M.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum seven years of manufacturing and/or plastics product development and scale-up experience.  Preferably significant experience in both.
• Requires strong and varied technical skills to address complex issues ranging from polymer chemistry to plant operation/design to computer systems.   
• Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills to develop teamwork with numerous groups at all levels
