Senior Director – Procurement
About the Job
Truth Hardware, North America’s leader in designing and manufacturing of quality operating hardware for windows, patio doors, and skylights, is searching for a Senior Director in our procurement department.
You will be responsible for development, implementation and coordination of a comprehensive sourcing strategy in global markets. Your senior role’s objective is to supply best cost finished goods or processes partnering closely with the product marketing/management leadership as well as financial and operations team.
Duties:
Create strong vendor relationships
Maintain speed to market as well as inventory and cost & planning management
Lead strategically and think proactively regarding ongoing improvement in product quality and cost requirements of channels and customers.
Travel domestically and internationally to initiate and monitor supplier programs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in either Business or Engineering; 5-years experience in sourcing/project management
Minimum 3-years experience with mainland China suppliers, culture and processes
Minimum 10-years experience in manufacturing support is strongly desired
Superior communication skills
Demonstrated team leadership
