ABOUT THE POSITION



 



As the Leader of the Logistics Team, you will develop
and refine the strategic direction for our global product line and replacement
parts distribution and transportation channel. 
You will execute the logistics strategy to meet business objectives.
Lead and develop a team of exceptional professional and operational personnel
in meeting and exceeding aggressive corporate and departmental goals.



 



In addition, you will,



 



·        
Be in charge of a
global network of distribution centers, warehouses and assembly centers and
execute strategy and programs to continuously improve company distribution and
transportation results and customer service.



·        
Direct the
establishment and or relocation of distribution centers, to include site
selection, staffing, and other operational decisions.



·        
Maintain
departmental and organizational ability to support the growth and expansion of
company business plan, both domestically and internationally.



·        
Direct contract
negotiations with all necessary suppliers, vendors, landlords, etc. in order to
establish and maintain superior operations in current and planned locations.



·        
Identify, propose
and structure creative solutions for company business plan by working in
collaboration with functional teams including –other Supply Chain departments,
Sales, Customer Engineering, Program Management, Information Technology, Legal
and Finance.



 



 



SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS



 



Position Requirements:



·        
Minimum
of a bachelor degree in an applicable discipline is required; Masters Degree
preferred.



·        
At
least ten years of successful leadership experience in a multi-warehouse,
distribution based environment required. Experience should include
international/global responsibilities, automotive parts experience, and
knowledge of automobile dealership channel.



·        
Ideal candidate will be passionate about leadership at
all levels, collaborative, and flexible as well as demonstrate initiative and
the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.



·        
Must
be a highly motivated and inspired leader that possesses strong organizational
skills, communication skills and has the ability to articulate company programs
and business strategies to drive demand and position the company as the segment
leader.



·        
Candidate must
possess excellent analytical skills combined formal process development in
order to make and support critical business decisions.   



·        
Ability to
conceptualize, develop and subsequently implement best practices organization
wide.



 



 



COMPENSATION



 



Excellent package includes a
base of $150-200+K plus a bonus, 401K plan, outstanding medical, relocation
