Summary:
The Senior Director, Market Operations is responsible for managing an operational market. Strategic responsibilities and strong leadership skills are required to ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place for their area. This individual will also partner with Branch Distribution Leaders to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and/or control. Lead a multi-state team.
Responsibilities:
Role is balanced between day-to-day high level operational execution and development of the strategic direction for Market Operations
Serve as the face of operations and IT to the branch distribution leadership team managing operational performance, improvement initiatives and control efforts
Lead team to evaluate branch efficiency levels and recommend/implement operational procedures to improve
Review and implement changes to branch operations, systems, or policies that are barriers to customer service
Work extensively with the Branch Distribution leaders to ensure operational needs of the markets are met
Management of multi-state team of ~ 30 individuals
Develop and present recommendations to bank management for the introduction of new or revised services, processing systems, or product delivery by coordinating the following:
Feasibility and impact studies
Analyzing and justifying cost
Insuring feasible utilization of existing equipment and personnel resources
Insuring legal compliance to state or federal regulation
Insuring compliance to bank policy and procedural requirements
Performing staffing analysis
Represent Branch Distribution’s interest on various committees and projects that affect the branches, such as: Non-Credit Fraud Loss Committee, new products, system changes, etc.
Job Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in management of operations or banking
• College Degree or 10 years of experience in operations or banking
• 5 years of banking operations experience
• 8 years of supervisory experience
• 5 years of experience with banking systems and services
