Responsibilities

This is the opportunity of a lifetime to build and lead a global, high performance, hungry, and competitive security product marketing team. This team contributes to positive revenue growth for Symantec Security products and services that generate over 1 Billion dollars in annual revenue across core markets, geographies, and channels. In this role you will manage a team of 25+ .

• Build go to market strategies and demand generation campaigns that exceed revenue goals
• Integrated, differentiated, and visionary solution/product messaging and launches
• Make every security product marketing manager a CEO of their business: Create business plans for every product line that drive bookings, alliances, product strategy, and campaigns
• Build a team of trusted, sought after leaders who make measurable contributions to Symantec's bottom line: Enable this team to be engaging storytellers that create content that supports scenario selling, as well as drive revenue and market share
• Consultative, honest content for the prospect and customer; Drive exceptional customer and market closeness
• Drive field, partner, and channel enablement so that every Symantec sales representative and channel partner has a focused set of A+ tools at their fingertips to win deals with their target audience
• Build strong relationships with customers, partner, sales, product management and marketing teams
• Lockstep global alignment with Symantec executives, sales teams, and product management business units
• Relentless measurement of business impact

Qualifications

• 1 5+ years experience in building and managing world-class outbound product marketing organizations
• Travel Required; This position is partner and customer facing
• Proven leader, strong desire to roll-up his/her sleeves and make things happen
• Proven success in building competitive marketing programs
• Tells a fabulous story: company, customer or product
• Thinks like a marketer yet has a deep understanding of enterprise sales process, channel and customer buying behavior for software
• Proven to build strong relationships with customers, partners and sales
