Sr. Documentation Specialist Description
Duties and Responsible for organizing and maintaining the technical publication library, including
Responsibilities documentation control database.
Convert hard copy documentation into magnetic media.
Prepare the Revisions to Existing Government Documents.
Evaluate, identify, and remove all duplicates, discrepancies, and/or unrelated program support documents from the existing
database records, and convert the existing database.
Import all legacy data, including new deficiencies that have been approved by the Government for incorporation into the database.
Maintain the existing
TECR database and ensure consistency with NAVAIR TSD.
Incorporate changes and updates in library documents and media.
Issue and controlduplication and distribution of technical documents and media.
Work in close coordinationwith the Program Office Purchasing Department to facilitate the Processing of Purchase Requisitions. Education Associate's degree in a related discipline (or two years of college-level course work, or Requirements completion of a technical training program, or professional certification) from an accredited institution. Five years of related work experience (exclusive of experience requirement) maybe substituted for education requirement. Experience Minimum of eight years of experience in the creation and update of documents, Requirements electronic diagrams/schematics and/or mechanical draWings, and the maintenance of technical data library.
