Job Description:

• Produce engineering construction documents in the Electrical and Low voltage disciplines
  
• Conceive and prepare specifications for building systems
  
• Conduct site surveys of electrical systems
  
• Review and approval of contractor submittals
  
• Provide construction management of current projects
  
• Perform design and field troubleshooting throughout project
  
• Check designs and drawings of work performed by others 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering
  
• 10+ years of proven experience in commercial, industrial, education, and/or municipal facilities engineering design and construction
  
• Applicants must have/ or be able to obtain current Professional Engineer License in MN, SD, ND, WY, CO, IA, MT, WI
  
• In-depth knowledge of codes and the ability to research code issues
  
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, power plans, distribution systems, controls, fire distribution plans, lighting systems, cable layouts, CCTV systems, change orders, and estimates
  
• Applicants must be able to review electrical engineering documents and evaluate against the work performed at the project site
  
• Must be able to travel to the project sites/ or other offices for support
  
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
