SENIOR ENGINEER Akron Brass, a division of Premier Farnell Corporation, located in Wooster, OH, is the industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of high-performance firefighting equipment and engineered system solutions. We seek a Senior Engineer with a high degree of initiative to develop and install new and modified products into production and provide technical product support to internal and external customers. Responsibilities include: Project leader on assigned new or modified product develop- ment projects. Design products for ease of man- ufacture. Indirect supervisory responsibili- ties. Manage the product delivery en- gineering efforts within assigned product group. Manage product development projects from concept to comple- tion. Specific Work Experience/ Background Required: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Engineering. 5+ Years of Product Design expe- rience. Pro-E or equivalent 3-D Cad ex- perience. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Experience with Finite Element Analysis & computational Fluid Dynamics Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Project Skilled with manual shop tools, lathe, mill, drill press The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, project management and creative design skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines.
