A reputable GC in California is seeking a Sr. Estimator who plans, leads, and coordinates, all activities associated with the overall Budgeting, Bidding, and Buyout of a construction project. Analyzes project plans and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost of a project and is involved with projects throughout the pre-construction and construction phase.
Education/ Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related area
Previous related construction experience.
Must have experience in the public sector, with a focus on schools, government, municipal and hospitals.

The ability to identify risk and cover exposure.
Knowledge of Plans and Specifications for all phases of construction.
Knowledge of public and construction safety, security and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical skills, including application and use in problem solving.

Strong coordination and time management skills.
Demonstrates superior communication skills
Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and independently.
Computer skills using MS Office.
LEED AP a plus.
