Located at the head of Wall Street, Trinity Church has been part of New York City’s and our nation’s history since its charter in 1697.At its core, Trinity is an Episcopal parish offering daily worship services and faith formation programs at Trinity Church, St. Paul’s Chapel, and online at trinitywallstreet.org.  Today, the collective organization is known as Trinity Wall Street, and includes Trinity Real Estate; Trinity Grants; St. Margaret’s House; Trinity Preschool; Trinity Institute; ministries for homeless youth, school partnerships, mission and service trips, and jobs training; and an extensive music program, including Concerts@One, the Trinity Choir, and the Downtown Youth Choir.


 


Trinity’s new EVP/CFO is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to coordinate all administrative activities, and support this key executive’s internal and external relationships at governance, corporate, and staff levels. 


 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


§         Prepare, manage and maintain EVP/CFO’s daily schedule and workflow; screen and prioritize calendar; and arrange all meeting logistics and hospitality.


§         Serve as primary administrative contact for Vestry, Executive Staff, consultants, and other external contacts.


§         Screen and respond to incoming calls, email and other highly sensitive communications; address or redirect inquiries and information requests. 


§         Arrange and oversee all administrative, logistical and hospitality aspects of Vestry and executive meetings -- preparing agendas, compiling and distributing materials, and recording meeting minutes. 


§         Prepare budget material; track expenses, invoices, and petty cash; prepare travel and expense reports.


§         Prepare correspondence, complex presentations, and reports.


§         Delegate and oversee work of departmental administrative staff as assigned.


§         Manage and maintain filing system, ensuring compliance with Records Retention policies and protocols.


§         Other special projects as requested by the EVP/CFO.


 


WORK HOURS: 7:45 am to 5:00 pm workday (additional hours may be required during crunch time). 


 


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:


§         Quick and clear thinker; highly organized and detail-oriented; proficient, friendly, and diplomatic communicator.


§         Aware and appreciative of Trinity’s legacy and mission. 


§         Enjoys working hard and accomplishing a lot


§         Able to take the lead, work on numerous complex tasks simultaneously, and flourish under pressure


§         Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years experience in a highly confidential, fast-paced, and complex environment


§         Ability to interact with all levels of personnel; high level of professionalism and hospitality


§         Flexible, proactive, and resourceful


§         Excellent verbal, written, and keyboard skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
