Highland Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of engineered industrial fabrics, automotive safety fabrics and coated substrates is currently seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join our facility in Cheraw, SC.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years experience as a Facilities Manager in a fast paced manufacturing environment. General Responsibilities:
- Analyze HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other factors.
- Plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for constructions and acquisition
- Develops long range plans, conceptual designs and capital out lay requirements and documentation for facility
- Acts a liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
- Directors maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with seven (7) to ten (10) Requirements
- Related experience in manufacturing, technical maintenance, and supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with electrical, dry wall, plumbing, HVAC, EHS programs, waste disposal
- Experience with electrical codes
- Must be able to deal with government agencies, attorneys, public utilities and with outside contractors to negotiate for bids and service contracts
