Our client is seeking a Senior Federal Budget Analyst.
Position Duties:
Primary responsibility is to provide oversight and support to a large, government agency including accounting for general PP/E, Budgetary, and Proprietary accounts
Conduct business process reviews, financial and property audits, metrics, and integration on financial and property management systems
Work with client team members to develop and implement solutions to client challenges
Act as a liaison to multiple teams within the Finance organization as well as external offices
Position Specific Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
At least 7 years of experience in accounting/finance such as federal operations, financial management, and applying federal budget guidelines in the formulation, analysis, execution, and review of the budget
At least 1 year of experience producing and presenting financial deliverables to the client/management team
At least 1 year of experience related to federal financial management - applying federal accounting principles in forecasts, analysis, financial plan execution, and review
Position Specific Desired Skills:
CPA
MBA or Master's of Accountancy
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulations
