Senior Finance Manager / Director of Finance w/ Software Revenue Recognition

PSSI has a Senior Finance Manager / Director of Finance position with a growing software company in the Woburn, MA area. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain company revenue recognition policies in compliance with SOP 97-2

• Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with GAAP accounting principles

• Maintain SOX controls & ensure compliance with company policies

• Develop company budget and prepare financial reporting

• Work extensively with the sales organization regarding revenue issues and sales contracts

• Interact heavily with senior management, recommending process improvement measures

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience.  This must include 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role with a software company

• Strong understanding of software revenue recognition (SOP 97-2, SOP 98-9, SAB 104)

• Previous experience working cross-functionally with a sales organization.  Good communication and presentation ability.
