Job Description

·        Oversee all financial planning and analysis functions for the corporate planning group including monthly and annual forecasts

·        Supervise month-end close processes including calculations of accruals

·        Create a strong financial theory/accounting strategy and understanding of the intricacies of the different internal financial groups 

·        Develop, design, and conduct project analysis including but not limited to ROI, capital planning, and revenue recognition 

·        Prepare presentations for management based on above findings

·        Perform ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and other duties as required

Requirements

·        Expertise in reporting tools including SAP (FICO, BI, and OTC)

·        Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables, macros and database management

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business required. MBA/CPA preferred. Working understanding of US GAAP.

·        Must have biotech or biopharmaceutical company experience, and at least five years of relevant corporate finance reporting experience

·        Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

·        Autonomy to complete work assignments with limited guidance and an ability to deal with ambiguity

·        Strong leadership, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills

·        Keen understanding of complex international business
