Senior Financial Analyst - HR Outsourcing

Responsibilities:
The Northeast Business Unit Financial Analyst is responsible for in-depth financial support of the Northeast Business Unit, individual client team leaders, and Benefits Division initiatives. This position will partner with the Northeast Business Group Managers and individual client teams as well as others across the Benefits Division. This person will provide financial insight, reporting and overall guidance to these associates. This position reports to the Manager of the Northeast Business Unit within the HRO Benefits (Large Market) Finance organization.
Specific Areas of Responsibility Include:
o Develop and deliver regular financial reporting for Business Group Leaders, aligned client teams, and the General Manager.
o Perform insightful analysis and comparisons which in turn help the business achieve overall Contribution Margin targets.
o Assist aligned operation leaders with their understanding of available reporting and analysis to hit Contribution Margin targets
o Assist in coordinating the budgeting and forecasting of Northeast Business Unit revenue (rate/volume analysis), compensation, headcounts and Contribution Margin
o Provide variance analysis of current month revenue, compensation and margin against prior year and Budget.
o Support the Division Leadership decision making process via ad-hoc financial reporting.
o Respond to periodic questions from client team leaders.
o 5+ years relevant finance experience
o Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; CPA preferred (not required)
o Strong organization, analytical and communication skills
o Strong business acumen
o Very strong Excel skills
o TM1 and PeopleSoft experience is a plus
o Demonstrated ability to:
o Deliver high quality, accurate analysis within tight deadlines
o Filter through large amounts of data to find the most relevant pieces and still understand the big picture
o Excel in problem solving and decision making under tight deadlines
o Drive change
