| Senior Financial Analyst |

Description: Eaton Corporation located in Cleveland, TN has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst.
The primary function of this position is to maintain the accounting system that assures the financial records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policy. Responsible also for leading our SOX efforts, physical inventory and also acts as team lead within the finance staff. This person should also be career driven and willing to relocate for upward mobility within the company.
Primary Activities Include: -Act as team lead within the accounting staff. -Provide accounting expertise on General Ledger, capital projects, and fixed assets for the site. -Ensure site is compliant with all SOX requirements. -Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management to make informed decisions. -Prepare, analyze, and investigate account variances and make recommendations for corrective actions. -Reconcile intercompany accounts receivables/ payables. -Assist with investigation and processing of customer return requests. -Assist with Quarterly & Annual division, corporate & legal requirements. -Review customer RMA requests for Approval/ Disapproval. -Assist with weekly QOS review. -Assist in annual profit plan preparation. -Month end closing and complete account reconciliations. -Purchasing Card reconciliations -Ensure Oracle and Mfg Pro interface errors are resolved. -Perform standard cost roll. -Review Tennessee use tax reporting -Participate and lead special projects related to key site goals and objectives. -Perform various audits (safety, standard work, 6s) -Perform key account reconciliations including inventory, IC accounts payable related to inventory and other assigned accounts in an accurate and timely manner. -Monitor plant balance sheet reserves for appropriate accrual balances. -Lead the annual physical inventory to meet corporate requirements for planning and reporting. -Consolidate and verify plant monthly reporting of financial results, cost savings, and balanced scorecard for accurate and complete information. -Prepare reports for divisional, corporate, and outside agencies use. -Review and support the plant and division intercompany transfer accounting system including reconciliations for balancing and aging.
Minimum Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business, economics degree is required. - Strong preference for the following competencies: results driven, organized, business acumen and interpersonal communication. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) - Familiarity with MFG Pro or similar ERP system is desired. - Strong preference to relocate within the company.
