If operations is the "driver" than this person is the "navigator" with the map directing where to go and how to get there!!!! This highly visible financial analyst plays a huge part in the direction, cost cutting initiatives and partnering with this mature, publicly traded solid manufacturing plant in Western Illinois. Responsibilities include: Analyze financial data, identify areas of opportunity, formulate action plans and execute solutions. Establish consistent methodology and analytical tools across all entities related to key operations metrics including productivity, inflation, labor efficiency, overtime, etc. Develop, implement, and enforce Finance Policies and Procedures as required to support decision making, enhanced financial reporting or improved controllership. Create an environment which achieves consistent / SOX compliant business controls across operations, while maintaining practicality in relation to execution and resource requirements. Generate business case models and recommendations in support of major decisions such as source changes, organizational realignment, acquisitions, etc. Drive improvements in working capital through identification of inventory and AP opportunities. Execute special projects related to process changes, working capital reduction and productivity improvement. (Fulfill project management role in conjunction with multifunctional projects) Participate in physical inventory & fixed asset inventory process as required. Manage fixed asset capital budget process including, 3 year rolling strategic plan, quarterly reviews, business case development and post project audits. Expected travel approximately 20% in support of multiple locations. Requirements include Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; 5+ years of manufacturing analysis experience plus extreme soft skills (self motivated and directed, outgoing, go getter with high energy).
