JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:    Senior  Financial Analyst

REPORTS TO:  Vice President Financial Planning

BUSINESS UNIT:   Financial Planning

JOB SUMMARY : This role reports to the Vice President Financial Planning directly enabling him to support the various lines of businesses within the Originations division to ensure accurate and efficient reporting, analysis of actual, forecasted numbers as well as supporting the business leaders in preparing their budgets. This role will also support the business leaders in understanding and reporting their operational metrics. Drive standardization, process improvements within the reporting and operational teams

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Operations for Title Close, Valuations and Technology Lines of Businesses.
• Report actual vs. plan, providing regular actual vs. plan revenue & expense analysis.
• Prepare and review executive level presentations on monthly performance and initiatives.
• Prepare monthly accruals and establish appropriate accounting processes and controls. 
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget and forecast development.
• Provide revenue & expense tracking.
• Develop methodologies, dashboards, and models for operational metric budgeting and reporting.
• Produce ad hoc analysis and reports as required.
• Analyze business opportunities, research industry and company trends.
• Identify, analyze, and lead productivity initiatives including, sourcing, integration, and automation.
• Drive integration, simplification and standardization of functions within the company.
• Process improvement within functions to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 Years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles.
• Experience in Financial Services ( mortgage industry experience preferred).
• Bachelors or Masters  in Finance /Accounting
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) & MS Access, good understanding of Excel.
• Oracle GL or similar Accounting GL understanding
• Hyperion/ Essbase or any other Reporting tool
