Job Description:

Program Control Senior Analysts perform financial reconciliation and reporting, process financial transactions and track time and expenses. They also assist with the preparation of contract reporting. Analysts perform and monitor Client internal financial accounting processes and perform special assignments for engagement executives (ad hoc reporting, trend analysis, costing and forecasting).

Responsibilities:


  • Provide first level of review of Contract set-up in system with proper Revenue Recognition classification

  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc program analysis of billings, financial forecast changes, and contract adjustments

  • Direct assistance in generating spend plans, estimates to complete, estimates at complete, and client proposals

  • Track and report time report expenses and other Client expenses

  • Regularly review expense budgets. Follow-up and report on questionable or invalid expenses and variances to expense budgets

  • Assist/prepare Client (and subcontractor) bill to client based upon contractual requirements and engagement status. Process bill in Client financial systems

  • Prepare, submit and monitor Accounts Payable payment requests to Support Services

  • Assist with ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance

  • Serve as first point of contact for MDs and project managers on any question related to project charges

  • Assist with forecast management activities (input collection, processing and report creation)

  • Track subcontractor spend plans, processes accruals as appropriate

  • Assist with contract shutdown activities (prepare final bill to client, close project numbers, etc.)

  • Supervise Program Control analysts

  • Responsible for EVMS reporting on PS contracts



This role requires 6 years of experience in performing business and/or accounting management tasks for commercial/government organizations. We are seeking an individual with strong Microsoft Office word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate would have experience with DoD accounting systems, MOCAS, EDA, SPS, and DCAS/CERPS. A BA/BS degree is required.
